This grey seal has been nicknamed Rope-neck by the wardens at Donna Nook because of the scar around her neck from an old injury, making her easily identifiable.
She comes back to practically the same spot on the dunes to give birth every year and has a kind of a plaque on the fence where she "lives" for a few weeks each year, telling visitors her story.
This series shows her in the next photo down, trying to get her pup to feed by tickling it with her flipper, but, the pup just wants to play..........
